Team Building

At Buxted Park Hotel we have compiled a list of activities hosted by our on site team that can be educational or simply for fun.

Hosted by our Sommelier, delegates will learn about the regions and grape varieties, sample a selection of six wines and understand the food and wine combinations best suited.

Cocktail Making

The history of cocktail making will be explained by our Mixologist. A hands on element will then include the delegates making their own drinks, including the all important taste test. A prize will be issued to the winning team.

Cooking in the Kitchen

Split into the teams, they will then prepare and cook a starter, main and dessert in a working kitchen. This will include an understanding of the ingredients, methodology and plating of a 2 AA rosette standard meal. 

Blind Food Tasting

Prior to each course at dinner, the delegates will sample the dish, to identifiy key ingredients. Sounds simple, but remove the senses of sight and smell and the situation changes! The winning team can toast the evening, with a glass of bubbly.
